Affordable Housing Amenity Explorer

The Orange County Housing Finance Trust’s Affordable Housing Amenity Explorer is a GIS mapping application that provides information regarding the 9% tax credit scoring potential for all parcels within the county. Dark green parcels score perfectly (15 points) under the current regulations of the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee, with light green, yellow, orange, and red parcels scoring progressively worse under current regulations.

Additional information for each parcel is provided by zooming in and clicking on the desired parcel. The available information includes the parcels Assessor’s Parcel Number, size, land use designation and zoning, and the points score and distance to each nearby amenity used for calculating points scores.

The Affordable Housing Amenity Explorer is provided for informational purposes only. All points scores should be verified prior to using this data to apply to the California Tax Credit Allocation Committee or other funding sources, including the Trust.
